Orlando Auto Rental

With many Orlando auto rental companies, offers tend to be competitively priced and rentals are readily available. Having a vehicle gives you the option to venture out of the theme park area and see some of Florida's incredible natural attractions, such as Merritt Island Wildlife Preserve, the untouched winter home of Northern birds that migrate to Florida from as far as Canada. Or perhaps you would like to travel north of Orlando to see my favorite place, the magnificent Blue Springs Park, where you can view manatees enjoying the warm spring-fed stream from November through March. They float and roll, and there are often babies. The sheer beauty of the lush, natural setting guarantees you a wonderful outing.
But if you plan to stay close to the theme parks and attractions, you may wonder whether you should rent an automobile at all. Orlando has a public transportation system called the "Lynx," but bus routes are limited and there is no subway or light rail. Orlando's public transportation options may disappoint visitors from places that have far better systems. Without a rented automobile, unless you take a guided tour, you are on your own if you want to venture beyond the theme park area.
On the other hand, driving an automoble in the theme park and attraction area of Orlando is no picnic. Parking at hotels pricey and roads are usually jammed. But you may find that the convenience and freedom of having your own car and not having to spend precious vacation time waiting for theme parks shuttle bus service may be reason enough to rent a car in Orlando.
